Joanna Eyre

Raised in Glenside, PA, and coming from a family with roots in Musical Theater, Joanna began dancing at age 2 at Metropolitan Ballet Academy where she trained in Ballet under the highly acclaimed Metropolitan Ballet staff. She had the pleasure of studying under Lisa Collins Vidnovic, Caroline Broullan, Denise D’Angelo, Natalya Zeiger, and Eva szabo. Durning her time at Metropolitan, Joanna performed in many productions including Pennsyslyvania Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker, Act II of Swan Lake, and Jennifer Sommers’s Lily’s Purple Plastic Purse. She attended summer intensives at Metropolitan Ballet, Swarthmore Ballet, Koresh Dance Company, and Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. Joanna has toured as a member of George Mason Independent in 2019 ACHIEVING a World Championship title at the Winter Guard International World Championships and with Drum Corps International World Finalist Carolina Crown. After touring, Joanna attended University of The Arts as a Dance Major. After one year at UArts, she left to train at the Koresh School of Dance under Roni Koresh and Melissa Rector. Joanna joined Jim Bunting Dance Company in 2023.
